Angled Wood Folding Chair

Project Summary:
One major angle controls and affects the entire folding mechanism and dimensions of this chair. The angle depicted in this prototype was glued slightly too tight. Wooden planes are finger jointed together. The period to design and construct this project was a week.

Notable Elements:
-shallow screws set with epoxy allow thin planes of wood to hinge together
-hinges are all set in flush with surfaces
-contrasting woods for different planes add visual dimension
